It gives great pleasure to me as the Hon. Secretary Of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to welcome you all to the 56th Annual academic sessions of the college
The annual congress is the most awaited academic event of the SLCOG, and this time it will span over 3 days from 11th to 13th at the BMICH and I have no doubt with the comprehensive academic program, this event gives new insight into Obstetrics and Gynecology to all the foreign and local delegates who are participating in this conference. It will be a welcome opportunity for all the participants to update as well as share their experiences and knowledge with all the local and international Colleges.
The theme of this year’s conferences is “Advancing Women’s Health with Good Governance”
This will be the climax of academic activities under the current president Prof Hemantha Dodampahala who is keen on promoting good governance in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The chairman of Scientific Activities & Research, Dr Shemoon Marleen, has formulated an interesting academic program to keep all of you fully occupied during these two days.
