Prof Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran – Young Gynaecologist Awards were established in 2017 to coincide with the golden jubilee celebrations of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with a generous endowment from Prof Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran an honorary fellow of the College.

Prof S M Sathanandan Reproductive Medicine Young Gynaecologist Award is established in 2026 to coincide with the 59^th Annual Academic Congress of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists with a generous endowment from Prof S M Sathanandan, an honorary fellow of the SLCOG.
